Mick Truitt - VP Sales, Marketing & Business Development Mick is responsible for the global sales, marketing and business development for Ludlum Measurements Inc. He left his home town in Ohio in 1974 to join the US Navy, where for 20 years he travelled the world aboard nuclear submarines. Following his retirement from military service he became an independent contractor, supervising and performing health physics work in various locations in the US and Canada. Mick got his start in manufacturing with Eberline Instruments as the global Product Line Director for gate monitors, contamination monitors, and small article monitors. He then moved to Canberra Industries where he served as the National Sales Manager. Mick brought his expertise and experience to Sweetwater when he joined Ludlum Measurements in 2007.

Patricia Brand - Sales Supervisor Patti began her career with Ludlum Measurements in 1999 as a Sales Secretary. She is currently the Sales Supervisor. She uses her past ten years in order entry to assist with QC checks on current order entry, assist shipping and sales to ensure orders are shipped correct, handle returns and issue credits, and assist the sales manager when he is traveling.
Patti is married to Patrick Brand, and has two daughters who both work for LMI, and one son. She enjoys reading, cooking and trying out new recipes, needlework and spending time with family.

Carlos Chapa - Director Business Development - Latin America Carlos received a BS degree in Electronics in 2000 where he specialized in I&C at the School of Engineering Tecnologico Victoria in Mexico. He also received his MBA at the University of Texas at Brownsville in 2007. He began his professional career in a PP subsidiary of EDF in Mexico as an I & C technician, then progressed to a Plan Operator and finally a Process Engineer for Commercial Operations. He then joined Photonis in 2003 as a photomultiplier engineer and later became the US Midwest Sales Manager before joining Ludlum in 2009. At Ludlum, Carlos worked as a Technical Training Manager and assisted in photomultiplier development before being promoted to his current position as a Business Development Director. Carlos and his wife, Dalia, have settled down in Sweetwater with their two children, Camila (2 yrs-2 months old) and Victoria (5 weeks old and counting). Elias Chavez, Jr. - Sales Elias has worked for LMI since 1990, gaining experience and knowledge from various positions. He started out assembling circuit boards, and then moved to the calibration department a year later where he eventually took on the position of department supervisor. As a calibrator, he learned to calibrate all portable Ludlum equipment, as well as most bench-type electronics. As calibration department supervisor, he enjoyed training both new employees and customers in calibration. In 2011 Elias took a position in the sales department where he uses his knowledge of Ludlum instruments to assist customers. "This is the first job I ever had that made me feel like I couldn't wait to see what the next day had to offer," he said of working for LMI. Elias was born and raised in Big Spring, graduating from Big Spring High School. He also attended Angelo State University and Howard College. He has lived in Sweetwater since 1977. Elias and his wife, Anna, have three children and five grandchildren. He has been a member of the Sweetwater Municipal Band since 1991. Other hobbies include music, fishing and biking.

Sig Ditzig - Director, European Sales and Medical Business Sig is responsible for the development and growth of business in Europe and for the continued development of the recently created Medical Physics product line. He got his start in the field of Radiologic Technology, working as a staff technologist, supervisor and finally as the Administrative Director of Radiology at a major teaching hospital in the Cleveland, Ohio area (Mount Sinai Medical Center). In the 11 years following his hospital experience, Sig developed his sales and marketing skills, while working at Victoreen, Nuclear Associates, and Canberra Industries.
Sig and his wife Mary, currently live in Strongsville, Ohio.

Pamela Fortin - International Sales Coordinator Pamela began her career with Ludlum Measurements in 2007 as the Export Control Coordinator. With further training and experience she advanced to Certified Export Compliance Manager for not only Ludlum Measurements Inc. but some of its other divisions; ADIT, Eljen Technology and Protean Instrument. Pam provides sales support for our international customers as well as our United Kingdom, Asian and South American business developers. Also, as part of her managerial duties, she coordinates all international shipments.
Pamela grew up in Sweetwater and graduated from Sweetwater High School. She and her husband, Robert, have one child. Pam enjoys dog sitting, reading and spending time with her family.

Rick Gibson - Sales Rick has lived in Sweetwater for the past 30 years and recently joined Ludlum. His previous job was sales related so he is very people oriented and has the customer service mindset.
Rick is family oriented, has a son named Dusty and three brothers; one of which also lives in Sweetwater. In his free time he enjoys reading, playing cards, programming computers and setting up networks. Rick says he's very excited to have this opportunity to be part of Ludlum's sales team and to serve its customers and worldwide network of representatives.

Ryan McCorkle - Sales Ryan graduated from Texas Tech University in May 2006 with a B.S. degree in Horticulture with an emphasis in Turfgrass Management. After graduation he worked at some of the most prestigious golf course in the country, including Shoal Creek Golf Club in Birmingham, Alabama, Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas and Shady Oaks Country Club also in Fort Worth. Most recently Ryan served as the General Manager of the Sweetwater branch of Masterscapes, INC. He and his wife of 6 years, Stephanie, have a 14-month-old son, Kaison. His hobbies include sports, hunting, and his favorite, bass fishing. When not working or with is family, you can find him out on the water enjoying God's creation.Email:

Mike Miller - Sales Mike was raised in Sweetwater, graduated from Sweetwater High School then attended Texas Tech University where he studied business. Throughout his career, Mike has been involved in Sales through his own real estate business, grocery store and insurance. Mike joined Ludlum in 2007 as part of the sales team. He married his wife Kelley in 1978 and has two daughters, Micah 26 and Makayla 20. Mike enjoys golfing and traveling.

Mark Mims - Sales Mark returned to Sweetwater, Texas in 2010 to join Ludlum Measurements, Inc. after spending 20 years with companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Agilent Technologies and Keithley Instruments solving test and measurement problems in the United States and around the world. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Texas Tech University and studied Engineering Physics at Abilene Christian University. Mark and his wife Vickie are Sweetwater natives who enjoy spending time with their children Madison and Nolan. "I am very proud to be a representative of Ludlum Measurements, Inc. and I look forward to applying my experience, education and the vast resources of LMI to serve you in solving your Radiation Detection challenges"…Mark Mims.

Veronica Ornelas - Sales Veronica joined LMI's sales team in October of 2010. Her journey began 7 years ago working at ADIT, a photomultiplier tubes company. She then moved on to LMI's Repair and Calibration department, where she calibrated most Ludlum and non-Ludlum meters and became the Customer Service Representative for repair.
Veronica and her husband Matt wed in 2005; they have a 4 year old by the name of Kaidynce. She also has two step children Matthew 15 and Sidney 12. She enjoys being with her family, fishing and has recently taken up golf.

Wayne Richardson - Director Business Development - Asia/Pacific Rim Wayne Richardson is responsible for further developing Ludlum's business growth in the Asia/Pacific Rim area. Hailing from South Africa, he graduated with a chemistry degree from St Joseph's University in Philadelphia then began his diverse 25-year career with Canberra Industries, Inc. and its subsidiaries. Wayne started as a technician in a radiological environmental monitoring lab, and then became an instructor for the management of contaminated and injured nuclear power workers. He was later promoted and transferred to Packard Instrument Company, where he served as International Sales Manager for Packard, travelling extensively for more than a decade to visit representatives around the world. During this period, Wayne built many of the successful distribution channels for Packard. His broad experience also includes Product Management, Services Management, Sales Operations, and Investor Relations. Wayne's last position at Canberra Industries was Vice President, Sales and Marketing.
