The Model K8 is a solid state personal radiation detector for use in gamma detection. It is rugged yet lightweight(less than 30g) with both an audible and visual alarm.

ALARM INDICATION: Red LED and audible chirp (80 dB @ 10

be turned ON or OFF

Green LED – Indicates instrument is on and
detecting radiation
Yellow LED – Indicates low battery condition
Red LED – Indicates
alarm condition
POWER: 1 each lithium CR2032 battery
BATTERY LIFE: Typically 1500 hours in background radiation
CONSTRUCTION: Plastic molded housing
TEMPERATURE RANGE: 14°F(-10°C) to 112°F(45°C)
