Model 43-143 100 cm² Gas Flow Proportional Detector
This new design is an equivalent to the Eberline HP-100 and is used for alpha/beta contamination measurements wherever a steady supply of P10 counting gas is available. The gas is supplied up through the detector signal cable so no additional gas feed lines are needed making its use just like any other external probe. The counting gas and signal are combined at an adaptor which is available separately.Another nice feature of this design is the removable faceplate which simply slides off to facilitate quick replacement of the window anytime it's needed. |

Model 2100 Conveyorized Sample Monitor
|
Ludlum has developed an automated gamma sample counter designed to check steel slug samples. This system incorporates a lead-shielded NaI(Tl) detector, conveyor, and controller to facilitate a fully automated process. A backlit, color LCD touch screen presents the results and allows configuring the system parameters. The unit includes an Ethernet port for real-time reporting and two USB ports for connecting external ID input devices. The monitoring process is fully automated. Once a sample is loaded onto the inlet conveyor, built-in sensors automatically activate the conveyor, which delivers the sample to the detector system. Following the count, the source is automatically conveyed until it falls off the conveyor into a storage container (not supplied).

Energy Compensation Filters for the Model 44-9 GM Pancake
|
Ludlum is pleased to present two new energy compensation filters for the venerable Model 44-9 GM pancake probe that correct the over-response at low energies when making measurements for exposure or ambient equivalent dose. These filters flatten the energy response to within 20% across an energy range of 33 keV to 1.2 MeV for exposure and 20 keV to 1.2 MeV for ambient equivalent dose. They simply snap into place anytime you wish to make measurements other than CPM.

Model 215 Alpha Frisker Station
|
Here is innovation at its best. An alpha frisking detector that requires no counting gas, no battery power and no messy cables. This system was designed as a glove box frisker station with a large 110 cm² sized detector cradled in a charging stand. In this configuration, the design permits operators to conveniently monitor for contamination on their hands by simply placing their hands against this system. If needed, the detector can also be removed from the stand and be used as an independant frisker detector for up to 30 minutes. Colored lights along the top of the detector, together with built-in audio output, make the detector operate equally well either in the stand or alone.
